Very good for the price. I hear they upped it to $525 a month for the one bedrooms, but that's still a great deal. Unless you are in a studio apartment you'll most likely get one window and one nice big patio door and a small deck leading out. Sink has a garbage disposal. Nice, soft light cream colored carpet and white walls and ceilings. Manager fixed any problems you had within a day or so, very good about it. As for complaints, one, the parking lot out front is for people with the permit. You only get one permit per renter in your apartment. Otherwise you have to park out on the dangerous street! Not good during winter weather plowing. Another thing, do not choose to live on the first floor unless you can handle the noise, smell, and can defend yourself. The level is filled mostly with sketchy people. At any given time of the day the halls in the entire building will either reek of cooking food or marijuana (any level). The only locks on the door are the default handle lock and a small chain. The stoves are electric. Heating is free. Air conditioning is done via a little cooling machine propped up on your wall near the window. There is a bus stop right in front of the building. There are a couple of ethnic shops nearby but if you want to go shopping for anything else you will need to drive or something like that. There is a little knocker on all of the doors and a peep hole for looking out. There is a set of one washer and one dryer at the end of each floor, they take quarters. There is a Coke soda machine at the entrance to the building. Rent is dropped into a slot on a door that is also near the entrance, along with the mailboxes. |
