Apartment Review for Parkside Lowertown Commons - Saint Paul, MN

Lowertown Lofts is fine/adequate. However when factoring in the cost of rent plus utilities and parking it falls a bit short. Broken down: nice location, nice looking place, decent management, great maintenance team (always prompt, respectful, and fixed the problem), dishwasher that doesn't actually wash, washer and dryer are dated past the point of actually cleaning clothes properly, gym is less then special and poorly maintained, storage space allotted was fine (but requires going to management office to get a key to access it), shower had so little pressure you don't feel clean after washing, parking isn't pleasant (if you're lucky enough to get a spot it's not bad for a compact car, if not, the options aren't great and parking garage across the street I got into, after management screwed up on the one I had in the basement by double assigning it, was terrible). Bottom line, without new appliances and basement parking, it is not worth the price.
