Apartment Review for Riviera Apartments - Saint Paul, MN

Riviera Apartments was the worst place I have ever lived. If you like hearing every word your neighbors have to say then this is the place for you. If you also enjoy listening to dogs bark for hours on end then I highly recommend this apartment. Also included in this very unsafe building is very small dirty hallways. While living there I had personnel property damaged by neighbors, witnessed a break in into the building; and on multiply occasions drug deals taking place right outside my window at all hours of the day and night. The hallways smelled like smoke, and then some at all times. The apartments are very pet friendly, too bad the pet owners are not the responsible type. The grounds are covered in dog feces year round. Dogs are allowed to bark for hours and hours with no consequence to their owners. The owner and manager do nothing to enforce any compliance with the pet policy. Add to that the owners absolute refusal to handle complaints with actual action of any kind this apartment just keeps going down hill. At one point during my lease it was found that the neighbors below me had quite a large infestation of mice. I was so bad that the mice reached the top floor of the apt. Riviera Apartments are by far are the most unsafe, filthy, poorly maintenance, poorly owned place I have ever had the horror of living. I'll leave you with this. If the combination of a owner that could care less about the safety and personal property of their tenants and neighbors that would offer you a bag of drugs before they would borrow you a cup of sugar appeals to you by all means enjoy your stay at Riviera Apartments. If that doesn't appeal to you then I suggest that to run not walk in the opposite direction.
