Apartment Review for Waterford Green - Saint Paul, MN

STAFF-when i first moved in a year ago the staff wasnt the greatest. twice they said they would meet me at the office and noone ever showed. but that girl doesnt work there any more. glenda and carrie are great to work with and staff has improved. MAINTENANCE-not so great. if its a small problem they will come fix it within a day or two but if its a big problem they wont. it took 2 weeks to get my dishwasher replaced. also i had mold in the walls in my bedroom from the utility closet and they came about 5 different times fixing it and its still not fixed to this day, that was over 6 months ago. they would ask me to move my dresser and then never show so id move it back and theyd show when it was moved back in place and leave because it was in the way. not good. PARKING-parking is horrible. there is nowhere to park after around 5. you might have to park across the street. also your visitors will be towed for sure if they dont park in the visitors parking. there is only like 5 visitors spots and theres like 400 apartments. it cost us like 375 to get our car back. also PLOWING IN THE WINTER IS HORRIBLE. they dont plow until like 4 days after it snowed, which by then its all ice so its pointless. the parking lot is a death trap the whole winter. CONDITION OF UNIT: i liked my unit. the mold was a problem but that was only because water was backed up in the utility closet, easy fix if maintenance would have handled it properly. the windows suck tho, they slide like shit. NOISE LEVEL: not so bad, but then again im only 20 and bass doesnt really bug me. crying babies bug me more then peoples loud music. i guess you can hear it pretty often. SAFETY: never had any problems with breakins or anything. other then the icy parking lot, the area is nice. PRICE: i lived in a 2 bed 2 bath with like 950 sq ft (or more, idk) and it was 870. with central air and free underground parking, i think thats a good deal. id give it a 6 out of 10.
